Components of Self Propelled Mobile Scissor Lift Working Platform
It acts as a solid raised work deck where operators stand and keep tools and supplies, offering a level, secure space for all aerial tasks.
Platform Control System Easy-to-use controls are fitted right on the platform. Workers can run all key functions here - raise, lower, move forward, steer and travel - for handy, fast site operation.
Scissor Arm Assembly Made of heavy reinforced steel arms, this main support frame takes the full weight of the platform. It delivers smooth vertical lifting and descent with no wobble, keeping the machine structurally solid while in use.
Hydraulic System This assembly includes hydraulic rams, oil pump, drive motor and oil reservoir. It supplies steady, strong power for lifting, so height adjustment runs reliably with no jerky movement.
Chassis & Drive System It combines a tough base, drive motors, steering linkage and long-wearing wheels. This integrated setup lets the lift turn easily, move steadily and get around well on different ground surfaces at the job site.
Safety System It is equipped with a full safety package: guard rails, emergency stop, manual backup lowering, tilt protection and load limit protection. These features help prevent typical onsite risks and keep operators well protected at all times.
Safe Operation & Notes for Self‑Propelled Scissor Lift
Safe Operating Steps Pre‑start check Walk around and check the whole lift before use. Check tires, hydraulic hoses, battery, guardrails, emergency stop and warning alarms. Clear pits, rubbish and slippery spots on site. Only trained operators are allowed to use this machine.
Move and park the unit Drive the lift slowly to your working spot. Park it on firm, flat ground. Apply the brake after positioning. Block off the surrounding area to keep pedestrians and other equipment out.
Board the platform and load materials Enter only through the platform gate and lock it properly. Do not put crates or ladders on the deck to reach higher. Keep tools and materials inside the guardrails, and never exceed the rated load.
Lift platform and carry out work Raise the deck to your working height with the controls. You may drive the lift at low speed while elevated, within the approved height limit. Keep a close lookout for overhead pipes, wires and building structures.
Wrap up work and lower down Once work is finished, slowly retract the scissor arms and lower the platform completely. Take your tools off and exit safely.
Relocate or store Drive the lift to another work area, or park it in a dry covered space. Switch off the power and remove the key to prevent unauthorised operation.
Important Safety Precautions Avoid raising the platform on sloped, soft or rough ground. If the tilt alarm sounds, lower the deck immediately and move to flat ground. The combined weight of operators, tools and materials must not go over the rated capacity. Stay within the guardrails at all times. Do not lean outward, climb over rails or stand on the rail top. Pay attention to wind when working outdoors. Stop lifting work when strong winds come up. If power fails, use the manual lowering valve on the ground to bring the platform down safely. Do not modify or disable any safety parts. Overload protection, tilt sensor, limit switches and emergency stop must work properly. Always watch overhead space. Prevent collisions with beams, cables and other obstacles during lifting or travelling. Do a routine check every day. Stop using the lift at once if you spot oil leaks, loose parts or faulty controls, and arrange repairs.
